Jesus is My Homeboy:
Older than 33 Need not Apply

The New Museum's mission has always been to exhibiting work created by young artists, many of whom have never exhibited before. In their latest exploration of the "new" comes Younger Than Jesus, the museum's new signature triennial featuring 50 artists, all of whom are younger than 33 and hail from 25 countries. The work examines their age commonality through variations of their shared experiences, with pieces ranging from painting, drawing, photography, film, and animation to performance, installation, dance, Internet-based works, and video games. All 145 works- by artists from Algeria, China, Colombia, Germany, India, Lebanon, Poland, Turkey and Venezuella among others- will fill the entire museum space. We hope they all showed valid ID.
